Groundwater Monitoring and Remediation Techniques
I co-taught this course with hydrogeologists for geology professionals of the Association of Engineering Geologists. The hydrogeologist instructors provided in-depth tools and techniques for sampling groundwater and for monitoring the flow of contaminants. Expert Proficiency Hazardous Waste Training
I regularly co-taught this course for the McClellan Air Force Base Environmental Management Directorate. Civilian and enlisted Air Force personnel who handled hazardous wastes as a part of their primary and collateral duties at this Air Logistic Center were required to attend this course once per year. Oil Spill Containment and Cleanup, and Rules of the Road
Instructed to chemical operators at Exxon’s Bayway Refinery, the course focused on the containment and cleanup of crude oil and refined petroleum product spills in and around the refinery waterfront. The US Coast Guard Rules of the Road were taught so operators would know safe boats handling in inland waters during spill operations.
Certified Hazardous Material Manager Review Course
Co-taught by a team of instructors as a review for for environmental professionals seeking to pass the exam for the Certified Hazardous Materials Manager certification.given by of the Hazardous Material Control Research Institute.
